I'm Dominic Gaona an Application Specialist

Having a degree in CITP (Computer Information Technology), I'm fluent in a wide range of programming languages with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. As an Application Specialist at South Texas College, I work with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems including Banner and Workday, managing reporting, system administration, and application deployment. Being a natural problem solver, I'm not afraid to fail, learn, and apply those lessons to each project—clients know I won't stop until the job is done.

Throughout my career, I've gained extensive experience with diverse systems including inventory management, ecommerce solutions for storefronts, and payment systems such as Square. My passion for continuous learning drives me to develop personal projects and expand my technical skill set. I'm currently working on project-RPG, a video game development project, with the ultimate goal of opening my own gaming studio right here in the Rio Grande Valley.
